Golf cart parts are the part of this catalogue people search hardest for, and they are also the easiest to get wrong. Almost nothing is universal: a Precedent seat cover will not fit a DS, an RXV brake kit will not fit a TXT, and a Drive2 enclosure will not close on a G22. Start with your make, narrow to your model and year, then pick the part.

Find your model first. Club Car serial plates sit under the passenger-side dash or on the frame behind the driver-side rear wheel. EZGO plates are under the glovebox or beneath the driver-side seat. Yamaha plates are under the seat or on the frame near the driver-side front. The first characters give you the model-year code, and every listing on this site states the years it covers.

Three fitment mistakes worth avoiding

1. Assuming TXT and RXV share parts. They do not. The RXV (2008 and up) uses a different rear axle and a motor-braking system, so brakes, axles, seats and body parts are separate catalogues. Only genuinely universal accessories cross over.

2. Ordering an enclosure without measuring the roof. Enclosures are cut to roof length — 54, 57 and 80 inch are the common sizes — and to passenger count. Measure front-to-back down the centre line before you order.

3. Fitting a 12V accessory to a 36V or 48V pack without a reducer. Light kits, fans, USB panels and horns are almost all 12V. Deluxe harness kits usually include a voltage reducer; basic kits often do not.
