Steering wheel swaps are among the most common cart upgrades because they are genuinely universal — nearly every cart uses the same splined shaft, and an adapter covers the rest. TXT is the EZGO everyone means when they say 'EZGO'.

Fitment and sizing. Fits EZGO TXT. Many TXT parts also fit the 1994–2001 Medalist. TXT and RXV are different platforms — do not cross-shop between them. Most wheels need a model-specific adapter to meet the column. Check whether one is included.

Do I need an adapter to fit a new steering wheel?

Usually yes. Club Car, EZGO and Yamaha columns differ slightly, so the wheel is universal and the adapter is not.

Is the EZGO Medalist the same as a TXT?

Close. The Medalist (1994–2001) shares the frame and much of the drivetrain with the early TXT, so a lot of parts are listed as fitting both. Body trim and later electrical parts differ.
