Speed sensors and motor magnets are small parts with large symptoms. A failed sensor on a Club Car IQ system typically leaves the cart crawling or refusing to leave neutral. Club Car has used several very different chassis over the years, so the single most useful thing you can do before ordering is identify your model and year.

Fitment and sizing. Serial number plate sits under the passenger-side dash or on the frame behind the driver-side rear wheel. The first two characters tell you the model year. Sensor and magnet part numbers are specific to the motor and controller family — ADC and GE motors use different components.

How do I tell a Club Car DS from a Precedent?

The DS has a squared-off body with a separate front bumper and exposed hardware. The Precedent has a smooth, rounded front cowl and integrated bumper. Parts are rarely interchangeable between the two.
