Overview

The TaylorMade MG4 Chrome wedge blends modern short-game engineering with a sleek, confident look. With a high-bounce 58° loft and 12° bounce, this club is designed to feel stable on a variety of turf textures, from fluffy lies to firm surfaces, helping you set up with purpose around the greens.

Key design elements

  • Deep laser-etched channels between the grooves create a water-escape path on impact, helping maintain spin in wet conditions.
  • A raw surface and toe area work with Spin Tread Grooves to enhance spin properties in damp or slick scenarios.
  • The reshaped top line, leading edge, and hosel blend for a smoother, fuller look that can boost confidence at address and support more deliberate shot-making.
  • A light True Temper Tour Issue 115g shaft contributes to feel and tempo without adding bulk to the swing.
  • The fully machined sole guarantees consistent grind and precise bounce geometry every time you step into a bunker or tight lie.

On-course feel and performance

Designed to deliver a refined sound and responsive feel when contacting the face across the club’s width, the MG4 Chrome balances precision grind with spin-friendly grooves. The combination of these elements supports a versatile short-game toolkit for various greenside scenarios and weather conditions.
