Retractable and fixed seat belt kits for Club Car, EZGO and Yamaha carts, sold in 2-seat and 4-seat sets with or without the brackets that bolt to the seat frame. Most are universal across the three main makes, and the majority are retractable.

Federal low-speed vehicle rules (FMVSS 500) call for a seat belt at each designated seating position; requirements for ordinary golf carts vary by state and town. Many owners fit belts to any cart that carries children or uses community roads. Check whether your seat frame has anchor points before choosing a kit without brackets.

Frequently asked questions

Will these seat belts fit my cart?

Universal kits fit most Club Car, EZGO and Yamaha seats; what differs is the mounting. If your seat frame has no anchor holes, order a kit that includes brackets.

Retractable or fixed lap belts?

Retractable belts stay tidy and adjust to the passenger automatically; fixed lap belts are simpler and cheaper. Both types are available with brackets.
