Golf Cart Carburetors

Replacement carburetors and carburetor kits for gas golf carts. The largest groups fit the Kawasaki FE290 and FE350 engines in Club Car DS and Precedent, Yamaha G16–G22 and Drive (G29) four-strokes, the J38 unit for 1985–1995 Yamaha carts, EZGO's Robin 295/350 engines and the Kawasaki 13 hp engine in 2008-and-later EZGO TXT and RXV gas carts. A smaller group covers older two-stroke models.

Many listings are kits rather than a bare carburetor — some include a fuel pump, others add the fuel filter, fuel line, gaskets or a spark plug. Match the engine model and year range first, then compare what is in the box.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which carburetor my cart needs?

Find the engine model (for example Kawasaki FE290 or FE350 on Club Car, Robin 295cc or 350cc on older EZGO) and the cart's model year. Every listing states both; when in doubt, compare the OEM number on your old carburetor with the numbers in the listing title.

Are these direct replacements?

Most are sold as bolt-on replacements for the engines named in the title. Aftermarket carburetors can need the idle speed set after fitting — follow the instructions supplied with the part.

Will a new carburetor fix a cart that will not start?

Only if fuel delivery is the problem. Check for spark, a working fuel pump and a clean fuel filter first; those parts are in gas golf cart engine parts.
