Cart windshields come in fixed and folding styles, in clear or tinted acrylic. Folding is the more practical choice for anyone who drives at speed — flip the top half down and the airflow problem disappears. TXT is the EZGO everyone means when they say 'EZGO'.

Fitment and sizing. Fits EZGO TXT. Many TXT parts also fit the 1994–2001 Medalist. TXT and RXV are different platforms — do not cross-shop between them. Windshields mount to model-specific brackets. A Precedent shield will not bolt to a DS strut, and RXV and TXT shields differ.

Should I get a folding or fixed windshield?

Folding shields let you drop the upper half for airflow and are easier to clean. Fixed shields are stiffer and cheaper. Both mount the same way.

Is the EZGO Medalist the same as a TXT?

Close. The Medalist (1994–2001) shares the frame and much of the drivetrain with the early TXT, so a lot of parts are listed as fitting both. Body trim and later electrical parts differ.
