Replacement headlamps are usually a repair rather than an upgrade — factory sealed units cloud and crack with UV, and the LED replacements draw less current from the pack while throwing a cleaner beam. TXT is the EZGO everyone means when they say 'EZGO'.

Fitment and sizing. Fits EZGO TXT. Many TXT parts also fit the 1994–2001 Medalist. TXT and RXV are different platforms — do not cross-shop between them. Most units are 12V and need a reducer on a 36V or 48V cart. Lamps are cut to a specific cowl opening, so match your model and year.

Frequently asked questions

Are golf cart headlights universal?

The bulbs often are; the housings are not. Headlamp assemblies follow the cowl opening of one model, so a Precedent lamp will not sit in a DS cowl.

Is the EZGO Medalist the same as a TXT?

Close. The Medalist (1994–2001) shares the frame and much of the drivetrain with the early TXT, so a lot of parts are listed as fitting both. Body trim and later electrical parts differ.
