Cart brakes are drum brakes on nearly every model, and the wear items are the shoes, the springs and the self-adjusting hardware. Kits that include the spring set save the usual second order. TXT is the EZGO everyone means when they say 'EZGO'.

Fitment and sizing. Fits EZGO TXT. Many TXT parts also fit the 1994–2001 Medalist. TXT and RXV are different platforms — do not cross-shop between them. Brake hardware is year-specific — Club Car changed the DS brake design in 1995 and the RXV uses motor braking rather than a conventional drive-axle brake.

Is the EZGO Medalist the same as a TXT?

Close. The Medalist (1994–2001) shares the frame and much of the drivetrain with the early TXT, so a lot of parts are listed as fitting both. Body trim and later electrical parts differ.
