Cart windshields come in fixed and folding styles, in clear or tinted acrylic. Folding is the more practical choice for anyone who drives at speed — flip the top half down and the airflow problem disappears. The RXV arrived in 2008 with an AC drivetrain and a motor-braking system that has no direct TXT equivalent.

Fitment and sizing. Fits EZGO RXV 2008 and up. RXV rear axle, brake and body parts do not interchange with TXT. Windshields mount to model-specific brackets. A Precedent shield will not bolt to a DS strut, and RXV and TXT shields differ.

Frequently asked questions

Should I get a folding or fixed windshield?

Folding shields let you drop the upper half for airflow and are easier to clean. Fixed shields are stiffer and cheaper. Both mount the same way.

Why won't TXT parts fit my RXV?

The RXV uses a different rear end, a different braking approach and different body mounting points. Only truly universal accessories — fans, mirrors, cup holders, covers cut for both — cross over.
