Speed sensors and motor magnets are small parts with large symptoms. A failed sensor on a Club Car IQ system typically leaves the cart crawling or refusing to leave neutral. EZGO's aftermarket is the deepest in the industry, which is good news and a trap at the same time: TXT, RXV, Marathon and Medalist all share a name but not always a bolt pattern.

Fitment and sizing. EZGO serial numbers are on a plate under the glovebox or on the frame under the driver-side seat. RXV parts almost never fit TXT and vice versa. Sensor and magnet part numbers are specific to the motor and controller family — ADC and GE motors use different components.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my golf cart stuck at low speed?

On IQ and Precision Drive systems a failed speed sensor or a dislodged motor magnet is the most common cause.

Will TXT parts fit an EZGO RXV?

Usually not. The RXV uses a different rear axle, brake design and body mounting, so seat covers, enclosures, brakes and light kits are model-specific. Universal items like fans, mirrors and cup holders do cross over.
