An enclosure turns an open cart into a usable vehicle in rain and cold. The important measurement is roof length — 54, 57 and 80 inch tops all take different enclosures, and passenger count changes the panel layout entirely. EZGO's aftermarket is the deepest in the industry, which is good news and a trap at the same time: TXT, RXV, Marathon and Medalist all share a name but not always a bolt pattern.

Fitment and sizing. EZGO serial numbers are on a plate under the glovebox or on the frame under the driver-side seat. RXV parts almost never fit TXT and vice versa. Check your roof length and passenger count first. A 4-passenger enclosure will not close correctly on a 2-passenger cart even from the same manufacturer.

Measure the roof front-to-back along its centre line. Common sizes are 54", 57" and 80". Then count seats — 2-passenger and 4-passenger enclosures are cut differently.

Will TXT parts fit an EZGO RXV?

Usually not. The RXV uses a different rear axle, brake design and body mounting, so seat covers, enclosures, brakes and light kits are model-specific. Universal items like fans, mirrors and cup holders do cross over.
