Cart windshields come in fixed and folding styles, in clear or tinted acrylic. Folding is the more practical choice for anyone who drives at speed — flip the top half down and the airflow problem disappears. Club Car has used several very different chassis over the years, so the single most useful thing you can do before ordering is identify your model and year.

Fitment and sizing. Serial number plate sits under the passenger-side dash or on the frame behind the driver-side rear wheel. The first two characters tell you the model year. Windshields mount to model-specific brackets. A Precedent shield will not bolt to a DS strut, and RXV and TXT shields differ.

Should I get a folding or fixed windshield?

Folding shields let you drop the upper half for airflow and are easier to clean. Fixed shields are stiffer and cheaper. Both mount the same way.

How do I tell a Club Car DS from a Precedent?

The DS has a squared-off body with a separate front bumper and exposed hardware. The Precedent has a smooth, rounded front cowl and integrated bumper. Parts are rarely interchangeable between the two.
