Overview

The Cartalia Golf Cart Foldable Windshield is a clear, rigid acrylic shield designed to fit Club Car DS models from 1982 onward. It is tailored for the 1.0" strut top, with tapered or curved rail styles, and is not compatible with front straight up rail configurations. The windshield folds for compact storage, making outdoor drives more comfortable when weather and road conditions shift.

Crafted to balance visibility with protection, this shield emphasizes a clean, uninterrupted view while helping to manage wind and debris. The design aims to deliver a dependable barrier without compromising the sense of openness you get while cruising on open paths or shaded trails.

Key fit and material details

  • Fits 1982-Up Club Car DS gas and electric carts with 1.0" strut top, tapered or curved rail styles
  • Not compatible with front straight up rail style
  • 3/16" (5mm) thick acrylic provides solid durability and clear visibility

Visibility, protection, and comfort

The windshield reduces glare and offers UV protection, supporting more comfortable drives in changing light. It also serves as a barrier against wind, dust, and small twigs, helping maintain passenger comfort on longer rides or windy days.

  • Reduced glare for easier reading of gauges and scenery
  • UV protection to help minimize sun exposure
  • Protection from wind and airborne debris for a calmer ride

What’s included and easy installation

The kit ships with all necessary hardware and a step-by-step guide. No drilling or vehicle modification is required, and the assembly can be completed in minutes with minimal effort. A protective film shields the surface on all sides to prevent scratches before use.

  • All hardware included for quick setup
  • Tool-free, no-drill installation in about five minutes
  • Protective film on both sides; remove after installation
  • Protective foam packing helps prevent transit damage

Real-world use and care

Ideal for weekend getaways or daily errands, this windshield can help you maintain a clear view as weather or wind picks up. When not in use, its foldable design supports easy storage in your cart’s space. While it offers notable protection and visibility, actual results depend on riding conditions and care in handling.
