A full-coverage mat does more than catch mud — the diamond and honeycomb patterns scrape grass off spikes, and the raised lip keeps water off the floorboard so it does not sit against the frame. Yamaha's golf cart line runs G1 through G22, then the Drive (G29) and Drive2.

Fitment and sizing. Yamaha serial plates are under the seat or on the frame near the driver-side front. G14/G16/G19/G22 share many drivetrain parts; Drive and Drive2 do not. Full-coverage mats are cut to a specific floorboard shape. Universal roll mats trim to fit but leave gaps at the pedals.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between full-coverage and universal mats?

Full-coverage mats are moulded to one cart's floorboard including the pedal area and step. Universal mats are cut from sheet and trimmed by you.

Is the Yamaha Drive the same as a G29?

Yes — Yamaha marketed the G29 as the Drive from 2007. Drive2 arrived in 2017 with a revised body, so body panels and enclosures are not interchangeable.
