Drive belts (engine clutch to driven clutch) and starter-generator belts for gas Club Car, EZGO and Yamaha carts, plus belt kits and tune-up kits that include both. Most listings quote the OEM number — 1016203 for Club Car DS 1997-on and Precedent gas, 72054G01 for four-stroke EZGO TXT and Medalist, 606136 or 618630 for the Kawasaki-powered EZGO RXV and TXT — so you can match the number on your old belt.

A drive belt that slips, squeals or shows glazed sides is due; a cracked or frayed belt can let go without warning. If both belts are original, replacing them together saves doing the job twice.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a drive belt and a starter-generator belt?

The drive belt runs between the drive clutch on the engine and the driven clutch on the transaxle and moves the cart. The starter-generator belt turns the starter-generator to start the engine and charge the 12V battery. They are different lengths and are not interchangeable.

How do I find the right belt?

Use the OEM number printed on the old belt or in your parts manual, then confirm the make, model and engine years in the listing. Belts differ between engines, so a belt for a Robin-engine TXT will not fit a Kawasaki-engine TXT.

When should a belt be replaced?

Inspect it whenever you service the engine and replace it if it is cracked, glazed, frayed or slipping under load.
