Rear axle bearings and seals are the classic cart maintenance item. A leaking seal contaminates the brake shoes, so the two jobs almost always come together. TXT is the EZGO everyone means when they say 'EZGO'.

Fitment and sizing. Fits EZGO TXT. Many TXT parts also fit the 1994–2001 Medalist. TXT and RXV are different platforms — do not cross-shop between them. Bearings and seals are sold in axle-side sets. Replace both sides at once — if one has failed the other is the same age.

Why is my golf cart leaking oil near the rear wheel?

Almost always a failed axle seal. Left alone, gear oil reaches the brake shoes and they need replacing too.

Is the EZGO Medalist the same as a TXT?

Close. The Medalist (1994–2001) shares the frame and much of the drivetrain with the early TXT, so a lot of parts are listed as fitting both. Body trim and later electrical parts differ.
