Srixon Q-STAR Tour 5 Golf Balls – Yellow | Soft Feel, Spin & Distance

The Srixon Q-STAR Tour 5 redefines soft feel with tour-level performance in a refined 3-piece design. This generation tightens compression just enough to fuel speed and distance, while preserving a plush urethane cover that enhances greenside spin and a satisfying, responsive touch.

Key technologies that shape its performance

• FastLayer Core: a deliberate transition from a soft inner core to a firmer outer edge. The slightly higher compression supports better ball speeds, yet the layered construction preserves feel on every shot.
• Spin Skin: a highly flexible coating that works with the softer urethane cover to grip grooves and maximize spin for improved control and stopping power on greens.
• 338 Speed Dimple Pattern: a design that promotes lift and helps the ball cut through air, while a lower drag coefficient keeps flights on target in challenging conditions.
• Durability and Consistency: built with sturdy materials to maintain performance round after round, delivering reliable results when you need them most.
• Responsive Feel for All Players: a well-balanced, controllable feel around greens that suits a wide range of skill levels.

What you might notice on the course

With the Q-STAR Tour 5, you may experience a blend of speed and soft response that supports distance without sacrificing control. The interplay between the enhanced speed and the forgiving urethane cover can help with spin control on shorter shots, while the textured cover aids smooth interaction with club grooves.

• Approach shots may show improved stopping behavior on firmer greens due to purposeful spin characteristics.
• Greenside feel remains soft, enabling precise feedback for delicate chips and pitches.
• The ball’s aerodynamic profile aims to stay steady in wind and deliver predictable landings.

In short, the Q-STAR Tour 5 is built for players who want a softer feel paired with confident greenside spin and reliable distance control. Consider it when you’re seeking a versatile option that adapts to different courses and conditions without compromising feedback or feel.
