Why customers choose Golfavero

Upgrade your EZGO TXT with the Roykaw forward and reverse transmission shift cable, engineered for golf carts produced between 1996 and 2001. This sturdy component is designed for gas-powered models with ST350 and ST480 engines, helping you maintain confident control as you navigate fairways, loading zones, and maintenance yards. With precise length and durable construction, it’s built to support consistent gear engagement across a range of playing and service scenarios.

The Roykaw cable replaces OEM part 72341-G01 and matches the 50.5-inch routing length required by many EZGO TXT configurations. The length, mounting points, and end fittings are chosen to fit the original geometry, reducing guesswork during installation. The rugged build resists wear from shifting, weather exposure, and regular use, helping you stay in the groove during a round or a workday maintenance task.

Key benefits and fitment

  • Compatible with EZGO TXT 1996–2001 gas carts, including ST350 and ST480 engines.
  • Exact 50.5-inch length to align with OEM routing and mounting locations.
  • Replaces OEM 72341-G01, 72341G01, restoring forward and reverse control when the current cable is worn.
  • Clear OEM verification: confirm the part number before purchase to ensure a correct fitment.
  • Roykaw offers responsive support if you’re unsure about compatibility with your model.

In practical use, a fresh shift cable can contribute to crisper input and more dependable transitions between directions. While results can vary by cart condition and maintenance history, many owners notice more predictable gear changes and reduced downtime when swapping in a new cable.

Real-world use cases

  • Golf course transport: steady forward motion and reliable reversing capability on uneven turf.
  • Clubhouse and storage runs: smoother shuttling between spots with minimal cable slack affecting performance.

Maintenance and care guidance: store the cable in a dry place before installation, inspect fittings for corrosion, and ensure the OEM number is correct prior to purchase. If you have questions about fitment or installation, reach out for guidance.
