Why customers choose Golfavero

Keep your golf cart moving in the right direction with the Roykaw Transmission Shift Cable Forward/Reverse. This 66 inch cable is designed as a reliable replacement for worn or failed OEM parts on a range of EZGO gas models. By matching the OEM reference 602891, it helps restore the intended forward and reverse control you rely on during rounds and errands alike.

Compatibility at a glance

  • 2004 and later EZGO TXT gas models
  • MPT 800/1200 multi‑purpose truck platforms
  • ST Series gas models including ST 400 and ST Sport variants
  • Single cable shift mechanism for ease of installation

Note that compatibility can vary by year and configuration. If you are unsure, compare with the OEM part 602891 and reach out for guidance before ordering.

What you get

  • 66 inch long transmission shift cable, designed to replace the OEM part 602891
  • Durable construction suitable for outdoor golf cart use
  • Simple swap that supports forward and reverse gear switching with a single cable

Durable materials and precise manufacturing help maintain alignment and reduce play along the shift path. The result can be a more predictable feel when shifting, a crisper click into gear, and fewer adjustments needed over time, depending on cart condition and maintenance practices.

In real‑world use, you may notice smoother engagement when moving between forward and reverse, potentially quieter operation, and less wear on surrounding components. These are practical possibilities, not guarantees, and depend on proper installation and overall cart care.

Installation and care tips

  • Double check the OEM number before purchasing to ensure compatibility
  • Inspect the length and routing along the vehicle frame for safe operation
  • Use standard tools and follow the vehicle manual for best results

If you have questions, our support team is ready to help. Roykaw aims to provide a reliable, ready‑to‑use replacement that helps you keep your cart moving with confidence.
