Overview

The Orlimar Escape HL 4 Wood Fairway is designed with senior players in mind, delivering a balanced blend of loft versatility, lightweight feel, and forgiving performance. Its thoughtful construction supports smoother tempo and more consistent contact across a range of course scenarios, without promising guaranteed results. Whether you’re faced with a tight driving zone or a long approach, this club aims to offer confident options off the fairway.

Key features

  • Loft range offers versatility across the bag: 15° to 37° from #3 to #15 (or the equivalent of a 7–8 iron).
  • Wrap-around face with ultra-thin, variable thickness design to help maximize ball speed and distance potential.
  • Progressive internal heel weighting helps square the face at impact, potentially producing a draw-biased trajectory.
  • Shank-proof design with a face-forward profile that provides extra forgiveness for off-center hits.
  • Specifications include a senior 4 wood, right-handed with 17° loft, 42.5 inches in length, 100% ultra-light graphite shaft, and a standard grip; headcover included.

On-course use and scenarios

In real-world play, the Escape HL 4 Wood can be a reliable option for long approach shots and controlled layups. The lighter weight helps with rhythm through the swing, while the wide range of lofts allows players to tailor trajectories to course layout and wind conditions. The face design is intended to promote faster speed off the clubface, which can translate to increased distance potential on solid contact, particularly from the fairway or light rough.

  • From the fairway on long par 4s or demanding tee shots where accuracy and distance matter.
  • In light rough where a forgiving, easy-to-sweep shot can help you nestle the ball closer to the green.
  • For smoother tempo players who benefit from a lighter shaft and a more confidence-building visual at address.
