Why customers choose Golfavero

Meet Mercury-Aries: a stable fairway driver you can trust on open stretches and tight gaps

The MERCURY-Aries from ONE ATTACK BY XCOM is designed as an overstable control driver that can handle power while delivering a predictable ending. With a weight range of 170-175g, this disc is tuned for players who want a reliable line when the wind picks up or when distance is key.

Flight performance you can feel

In the field, Mercury-Aries reduces glide to keep the flight path straight under pressure. Its speed rating of 8 pairs with a modest Glide 4, Turn 0, and Fade 2 to deliver a consistent arc from release to finish. It excels on powered backhand and forehand throws, finishing with a controlled end-fade that helps keep shots inside the basket zone.

  • Stable, predictable flight in moderate to strong winds
  • Reliable end-fade for finishing tight lines
  • Ample stability without excessive torque, suitable for varied throwing styles

Material, feel, and grip

The Mercury material is the same high-end transparent blend used in Venus, but with glitter inside for a starry look. It’s softer than Venus, offering a surer grip and approachable handling for newer players as well as seasoned throwers who want a more responsive feel in hand.

  • Glitter-infused, eye-catching appearance with enhanced grip
  • Softer texture improves control during windy or damp conditions

Who it’s for and how to use it

PDGA approved and manufactured to standard dimensions, Mercury-Aries is positioned as a versatile option for outdoor practice, backyard throws, and tournament rounds. It’s well-suited for players building power that still want a stable, navigable flight path.

Suggested use cases include backhand or forehand lines where power is needed but a stable finish helps preserve accuracy across a variety of courses.
