MVP Proton Photon Distance Driver 165-170g – Disc Golf | MVP Disc Sports

Meet the MVP Proton Photon Distance Driver

The Photon blends distance potential with dependable stability. Think of a longer Tesla in the air: power throwers may notice a flight that carries farther and allows a subtle turn, while every thrower benefits from a predictable fade that helps the disc land on target lines.

As a stable-overstable distance driver, the Photon naturally resists gusts and headwinds. On windy days, average-power throwers can experience flights that resemble the extended ranges of higher-power throws, opening up new options on challenging courses.

Flight Characteristics

• Speed 11 | Glide 5 | Turn -1 | Fade 2.5

• Premium Proton plastic for durability and a refined feel
• Bright, translucent candy colors for easy visibility on the course

Playability and Approval

PDGA approved for all professional play, the Photon integrates well into practice rounds and sanctioned events. It’s a versatile option for long-range attempts on open fairways or when you need a reliable fade to finish inside a target zone.

Whether you’re targeting a long straight shot through a headwind or a controlled finish on a tighter line, the Photon offers a flexible approach to distance with a dependable finish. Note that color options vary by batch, which can give each disc a unique look on the course.
