Meet the Proton Photon Distance Driver

The Proton Photon blends MVP's premium Proton plastic with a flight that rewards long-range throws while staying controlled through the fade. Weighing 155–160 grams and designed for durability, it remains visible on the course with vibrant candy colors. This disc is PDGA approved, making it suitable for competitive play and casual rounds alike.

Flight profile you can trust

  • Speed 11 • Glide 5 • Turn -1 • Fade 2.5 — a balanced setup for reach and reliability
  • Excellent headwind resistance, helping longer flights when conditions are less forgiving
  • PDGA approved for professional play

In the field, the Photon often feels like a longer Tesla for those who throw with power, yet it remains forgiving enough for a smooth release. The combination of distance potential and a predictable finish makes it a strong candidate for players expanding their distance toolkit.

Real-world use cases

  • Long straight drives on open fairways, maximizing distance while keeping the line
  • Windy days where stability helps maintain control through the flight
  • Training discs to dial in timing for a consistent end fade

Material and color: Proton plastic offers a premium look and a robust feel, designed to withstand tough conditions. Transparent candy colors aren’t just eye-catching; they help you track the disc mid-flight and after release in varied light. This disc is PDGA approved, making it a solid choice for tournaments and practice alike.
