Innova Proto Glow Champion Mako3 – Glow in the Dark Mid-Range Disc (178-180g)

Overview

The Innova Proto Glow Champion Mako3 is a glow-in-the-dark mid-range disc designed for dependable straightness and versatile shotmaking. Weighing 178–180 g, this disc combines a faster, low-profile Mako3 with bright glow material for enhanced visibility when the sun fades. It’s built for players who value precision on approaches and reliable control in a variety of conditions.

Flight profile

• Flight ratings: Speed 5, Glide 5, Turn 0, Fade 0
• The Mako3 is the faster, low-profile version of the remarkably straight-flying Innova Mako
• Best suited for dead-straight shots, smooth hyzer lines, and convenient one-disc rounds

The combination of a moderate speed and generous glide helps maintain a straight flight path with minimal tendency to turn or fade off target, making it a steady option for measured approach shots and controlled passes down the fairway.

Glow and durability

• PROTO GLOW material is brighter and longer-lasting while preserving Innova’s trusted grip
• CHAMPION GLOW plastic tends to be a bit softer than standard Champion, yet delivers standout durability day or night

Glow visibility is designed to help you track the disc in fading light, while Champion Glow provides resilience against everyday wear. The glow finish can enhance sightlines without sacrificing the disc’s feel in your hand.

Ideal use cases

This Mako3 excels in scenarios that favor precision and predictability. It’s well-suited for players who want a dependable mid-range for straight lines, steady hyzer shaping, and rounds where carrying just one disc could be appealing. The glow feature adds an extra layer of practicality for evening practice or night rounds.
