Reliable 36V 5A Charger for EZGO TXT Medalist and DS

This 36V 5A charger from Generic is designed to replace factory units with a precise 1:1 fit. Built for EZGO TXT Medalist and DS golf carts, it uses a standard D plug connector for straightforward installation and dependable daily charging. It targets 36V lead-acid batteries in the 16Ah to 64Ah range and is not compatible with lithium-ion packs, helping you avoid compatibility confusion while keeping your cart ready for daily use.

Think of this charger as a practical upgrade that blends plug-and-play simplicity with dependable performance. Its compact form and reliable build make it a solid choice for both garage storage and on-the-go scenarios, providing a dependable charging option without the bulk of traditional models.

Clear charging status at a glance

  • Two high-visibility LEDs show charging (red) and full (green) status, eliminating guesswork.
  • Visual alerts invite you to unplug after charging completes, helping protect the battery’s health over time.

Smart charging that protects and preserves your battery

  • Smart trickle charging auto-adjusts output: rapid charging to 100%, then a gentle trickle to maintain full charge.
  • Built-in protections guard against overcharging, overheating, short circuits, and overcurrent for safer operation.

Compact, portable design for everyday use

  • Input: 110-120V AC; Output: 36V 5A; compatible with 36V lead-acid batteries from 16Ah to 64Ah.
  • Smaller and lighter than bulkier models, fitting neatly in a garage corner, cart compartment, or bag for travel.

Safe and durable construction

The rugged outer shell resists daily wear and helps dissipate heat during longer charging sessions. For best results, use in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials, direct sun, and moisture.

Note: This charger is designed for 36V lead-acid packs and uses a D plug connector. It is not compatible with lithium-ion batteries. It serves as a practical replacement option for EZGO carts that match the 36V lead-acid specification, offering consistent performance without unnecessary compatibility concerns.
