Overview

The Discmania Color Glow FD3 Open is an overstable fairway driver designed for dependable accuracy across a range of conditions. With a speed of 9 and a forward-penetrating fade, this disc helps you commit to clean lines off the tee while maintaining control through the finish.

Design and Feel

Its aerodynamic low profile paired with a concave lower rim offers a comfortable grip and quick release. The Color Glow plastic delivers a vivid glow and durable grip that holds up with wear, making long sessions on the course more enjoyable.

  • Speed: 9
  • Glide: 4
  • Turn: 0
  • Fade: 3
  • 174-176g
  • Color Will Vary
  • Limited Edition

The FD3’s flight pattern sits close to the classic Power Driver but emphasizes slightly more overstability, helping you stay on target when lines tighten. Expect a long, powerful, forward-penetrating fade that finishes with authority, ideal for players who value predictability in challenging conditions.

Material, Color, and Collectability

The initial release uses vibrant C-Line Color Glow plastic, renowned for grip and durability. Color Will Vary means each disc carries a unique glow aesthetic. The stamp celebrates the Discmania Open event, supporting the tournament’s community footprint in Prince Edward Island.

On the Course

Whether shaping precise tunnel shots or navigating headwinds, the Color Glow FD3 Open is built to stay on your chosen line and finish with a controlled fade. It also serves well for longer touch sidearm efforts that need to escape trouble and land in a favorable position off the tee.

  • Long, powerful fade for defined finishes
  • Reliable line control for sidearms
  • Durable grip under wear

In sum, this FD3 variant blends a familiar PD-like feel with enhanced overstability, delivering a versatile tool for players seeking control, consistent distance, and a visually striking glow in their bag.
