Overview

The Cleveland Golf RTX 6 ZipCore wedge blends refined greenside feel with powerful spin potential. Crafted for greenside work from fairways, rough, damp turf, and even sandy lies, this 52° wedge in Tour Satin offers versatile control without promising guarantees. The design emphasizes natural touch, confidence at address, and reliable distance control in a compact, high-spin package.

The combination of modern core and groove engineering creates a versatile tool for a wide range of short shots. Its matte face minimizes glare at address while the visual contrast against the hosel and toe helps with alignment and setup, enabling more consistent contact through the swing.

Key Technologies

  • HydraZip: A dynamic blast and laser-milled line system creates intentional roughness to increase friction, helping generate spin in various conditions and from multiple spots around the green. The matte finish also reduces glare for steady setup visuals.
  • ZipCore: A low-density core with up to 95% more ZipCore material shifts the center of gravity to where you strike the ball, while boosting MOI (up to 20%). The result can translate to enhanced spin, repeatable distance, and improved feel and control shot after shot.
  • UltiZip: Sharper, deeper, and more tightly spaced grooves bite through debris and increase edge contact. The grooves are packed closer together to fit more contact area, contributing to higher spin potential and steadier performance across lies.

On-Course Benefits

  • Greenside spin from fairways and rough, with better bite on moist and challenging lies.
  • Reliable performance in wet or soft conditions thanks to groove geometry and core placement.
  • Improved alignment and setup visuals due to the matte face, aiding consistent contact.
