Callaway MD5 Jaws Wedge 50° Right-Hand, S Grind, Chrome 2022 | Steel Shaft, 10° Bounce

Performance and premium feel in a compact wedge

The Callaway MD5 Jaws Wedge (Chrome, 2022) blends a refined head shape with the iconic JAWS groove geometry. Designed to deliver a soft, responsive feel at impact, it offers a premium aesthetic and a sense of quality from address to finish. This wedge is built to be a reliable partner around the greens, with a balance of weight, balance, and balance that many players notice on confident short-game shots.

Key design features that matter on the course

• JAWS groove design with an extremely sharp edge radius aims to impart more spin for precise control on chips and pitches.
• Shaped by Roger Cleveland, these premium heads communicate quality at address and through the impact sound and feel.
• The popular S and W grind options open up a wide range of loft and bounce combinations for different turf conditions and shot types.
• Head shaping evolves from traditional lob and sand wedges to a compact gap wedge, offering a versatile look and feel for modern short games.

On-course versatility and fit

• 50° loft paired with 10° bounce supports a variety of greenside pitches, chips, and flop attempts with consistent turf interaction.
• Steel shaft delivers stable weight distribution and a predictable feel through tempo changes and impact.
• Chrome finish provides a classic, glare-reducing appearance that stays visually clean through rounds in different light.
• Available with multiple lofts and bounces so you can tailor your setup to the conditions you face most often.

While results depend on swing and conditions, the MD5 Jaws line is designed to offer a refined, predictable short-game option that complements a player's existing wedge set. This is a potential upgrade for greenside versatility, feel, and spin potential, rather than a guaranteed outcome.
