Axiom Discs Neutron Virus Distance Driver (165-170g) – Understable Glide

Overview

Meet the Axiom Neutron Virus distance driver—an understable workhorse designed to help you stretch your lines with confidence. With a glide-forward profile and a gentle turn, the Virus supports long, straight-to-turning flights that finish with a light fade. It's built for players who want to mix power with precision on open fairways and tight gaps alike.

Flight characteristics

Flight numbers published by Axiom: Speed 9, Glide 5, Turn -3.5, Fade 1. Those numbers translate into real-world performance: you can push turnover shots that carry far yet stay controllable, and you’ll often see a predictable finish when you release with the right angle.

• Understable distance driver that stays in the air for longer tosses.
• Glide and understability help you extend lines and shape trajectories without forcing a hard flip.
• Gentle fade at the end aids into-target placement instead of overshooting.

Material and feel

Neutron plastic is the premium option from Axiom, offering a bright, opaque look with a premium feel and good durability. The finish stays consistent through rounds and handles regular wear well, while color variety helps you spot your disc quickly on the course.

• Premium durability with a smooth grip and a premium aesthetic.
• Bold color options for visibility in sunlight or mixed light conditions.

Course scenarios

Use the Virus when you want to commit to a line and trust the flight to carry. Try it on wide-open tunnels for a controlled turnover, or on a straight fairway to set up a longer approach with a gentle finish. On windy days, the understable nature can help resist headwind misreads by pairing with the glide.

Why choose Neutron Virus?

Durable Neutron plastic combined with an approachable flight makes it a versatile option for many players. PDGA approval means it’s ready for sanctioned play, while the overall design invites confident practice and on-course decision-making.
