Overview

Meet the Axiom Discs Neutron Tantrum distance driver, built for players who want to shape long-range lines with confidence. The Tantrum blends a sweeping profile with hyzerflip potential, inviting smooth releases that glide into target zones. Crafted in Neutron plastic for a premium feel and vibrant color options, this driver is PDGA approved for competitive play, making it a solid choice for players seeking versatile distance off the tee.

Flight characteristics

  • Speed 14.5, Glide 5, Turn -1.5, Fade 3 — a balanced profile that rewards controlled power and precise technique.
  • The Tantrum’s sweeping lines and hyzerflip potential help you shape a variety of shots, from long hyzers to gentle turnovers.
  • Large rim design supports powerful releases and consistent behavior on a range of pulls and angles.

Material and durability

  • NEUTRON plastic is Axiom’s premium blend, delivering a premium look and feel with bright opaque color options.
  • Durability and a sturdy touch make it well-suited for regular play across different course conditions.

Practical on-course uses

  • Open fairways: unleash substantial distance on a stable flight path and let the glide settle toward the target.
  • Tree-lined routes: shape lines with hyzer flip or controlled turnover to navigate obstacles.
  • Practice rounds: tune grip, release speed, and line discipline with a forgiving yet powerful distance driver.

In practice, expect a disc that rewards clean form and a confident release. The Tantrum’s blend of speed, stability, and glide supports thoughtful shot shaping rather than relying on raw power alone. Results will vary with technique, wind, and course layout. The bright color options and Neutron texture help with visibility and feel, aiding consistent releases throughout a round.

Color and customization

Neutron’s bright colors are easy to spot on busy courses, and the Tantrum is available in multiple colorways to suit personal preferences and visibility needs in different light.
