A cart harness is a cheap part that fixes expensive symptoms. Corroded or chafed main wiring shows up as intermittent power, a cart that cuts out under load, or lights that dim when the motor draws. EZGO's aftermarket is the deepest in the industry, which is good news and a trap at the same time: TXT, RXV, Marathon and Medalist all share a name but not always a bolt pattern.

Fitment and sizing. EZGO serial numbers are on a plate under the glovebox or on the frame under the driver-side seat. RXV parts almost never fit TXT and vice versa. Harnesses are model and year specific, and gas and electric carts use different looms. Match the OEM number where the listing gives one.

Frequently asked questions

What causes intermittent power loss on a golf cart?

Most often a corroded main harness connector or a chafed section rubbing the frame. Battery cable resistance is the other usual suspect.

Will TXT parts fit an EZGO RXV?

Usually not. The RXV uses a different rear axle, brake design and body mounting, so seat covers, enclosures, brakes and light kits are model-specific. Universal items like fans, mirrors and cup holders do cross over.
