An enclosure turns an open cart into a usable vehicle in rain and cold. The important measurement is roof length — 54, 57 and 80 inch tops all take different enclosures, and passenger count changes the panel layout entirely. Club Car has used several very different chassis over the years, so the single most useful thing you can do before ordering is identify your model and year.

Fitment and sizing. Serial number plate sits under the passenger-side dash or on the frame behind the driver-side rear wheel. The first two characters tell you the model year. Check your roof length and passenger count first. A 4-passenger enclosure will not close correctly on a 2-passenger cart even from the same manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

How do I measure my cart for an enclosure?

Measure the roof front-to-back along its centre line. Common sizes are 54", 57" and 80". Then count seats — 2-passenger and 4-passenger enclosures are cut differently.

How do I tell a Club Car DS from a Precedent?

The DS has a squared-off body with a separate front bumper and exposed hardware. The Precedent has a smooth, rounded front cowl and integrated bumper. Parts are rarely interchangeable between the two.
